Exciting Opportunity!!!

Our client, a national corporation with an office in Delray Beach, FL is seeking a legal administrative assistant in a temporary-to-hire capacity.

Candidates should be local to Palm Beach County, Florida.

This is an on-site role in the beginning and then moving into a hybrid capacity. The hours are 9 am to 6 pm with a one-hour lunch.

Overview:
This person is primarily responsible for following up with law firms and clients and conducting legal research regarding the collection of funds issued to clients. In addition, making status updates, closing files and transactions, and due diligence upon files will be essential.

Responsibilities:
• Address client and attorney inquiries
• Communicate with attorneys and law firms about client cases
• Document attorney conversations clearly and concisely in software
• Assisting in pre-closing and closing transactions
• Manage the department and assign cases as needed
• Process bill reductions and payment processing
• Overall portfolio monitoring

Qualifications
Associate Degree in Law, Criminal Justice or similar
Experience with FL and NY E-courts/e-law preferred
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organization skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Ability to work independently and on a team
• Polite, confident, tactful, patient, and diplomatic while dealing with complex problems
