Legal Assistant – Litigation
Temporary to Permanent OR Temporary

Established and prestigious international law firm is seeking an experienced  Legal Assistant with litigation experience to join their team beginning right away in their downtown Miami office. This is for a very busy and exciting group that practices Insurance Defense Litigation.

Legal Assistant – Litigation – Requirements and Qualifications

Qualified applicant must have a minimum three years’ litigation experience, preferably working on Insurance Defense Litigation cases; but firm will consider any litigation practice area. MUST have knowledge enough to be able to work at a fast pace.


  • Highly organized, pays close attention to detail, efficient, excellent written and verbal communication skills and can work well with team members
  • Scheduling and e-filing experience
  • Must be familiar and able to follow client billing guidelines, enter and record accurate billing entries and know state and federal court rules
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities
  • Team player attitude
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Prior trial experience is a plus

This is a temp-to hire position, but the firm may consider a direct hire in certain instances. Once perm, the firm offers excellent benefits and a competitive salary
commensurate with experience.
