Established and prestigious international law firm seeks an experienced litigation Legal Assistant to join their team beginning right away in their downtown Miami office. This is for a very busy and exciting group that practices Insurance Defense Litigation.
Legal Assistant – Litigation – Requirements and Qualifications
Qualified applicant must have a minimum three years’ litigation experience, preferably working on Insurance Defense Litigation cases; but firm will consider any litigation practice area. MUST have knowledge enough to be able to work at a fast pace.
Requirements:
- Highly organized, pays close attention to detail, efficient, excellent written and verbal communication skills and can work well with team members
- Scheduling and e-filing experience
- Must be familiar and able to follow client billing guidelines, enter and record accurate billing entries and know state and federal court rules
- Ability to handle multiple priorities
- Team player attitude
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Prior trial experience is a plus
This is a temp-to hire position, but the firm may consider a direct hire in certain instances. Once perm, the firm offers excellent benefits and a competitive salary
