Our client, a successful practice in Weston, Florida is seeking a Real Estate Paralegal that can work a file from title to post-closing in a temporary- to-hire capacity.
This candidate will work from the office in Weston, FL, especially for closings, but will also have an opportunity to work from home down the road. Candidate should have at least 3 years of real estate experience in Florida
- Must be able to process files from receipt of the contract to closing.
- Must be detail oriented, organized, proactive, able to prioritize matters
- Will be able to work independently, be a team player and have strong customer service skills to work with lenders, realtors, buyers and sellers.
- Familiarity with Qualia is a MUST!
- Previous experience with Simplifile is a plus
- Bilingual Spanish is desired.
Job duties include:
- Communicating with Buyers, Sellers, Developers, Real Estate Agents and Lenders/Brokers to provide frequent updates on the transaction from the initial receipt of the contract/ title order to closing.
- Reviewing title search and municipal tax and lien reports and clearing all title commitment requirements.
- Preparing all necessary closing documents and settlement statements.
- Balancing title fees and costs for the transaction and confirming amounts needed to close.
- Receiving lender closing instructions and packages and preparing packages for closing.
- Coordinating closing with all parties and performing office closings.
- Prepare closing documents for recording and obtaining funding approval.
- Marking up title commitments to allow issuance of title insurance policies.
Once permanent, this position will pay $50-55k annually and include benefits.
