POSITION: Debt Collections Paralegal
LOCATION: Broward County
DESCRIPTION: Our client, a regional firm with an office in Pompano Beach, seeks an experienced litigation Paralegal with a background in Collections to start ASAP in a temporary-to-hire capacity.
This is a Monday – Friday work week and the hours are 8:30 am – 5:00 pm in office.
Requirements:
- Three to five years of experience in collections or similar field.
- Must be highly proficient working with large volumes of numerical data.
- Initiate and manage the debt collection process for a high volume of cases.
- Able to track and follow-up status on multiple cases simultaneously.
- Investigate and resolve disputes or discrepancies related to outstanding debt.
- Keen attention to detail to ensure accuracy when posting information in case files and ledger.
- Strong organizational skills are required to maintain accurate records and documentation for files.
- Exceptional communication skills working with clients to resolve outstanding debt including payment arrangements or other collection activities.
