Job Title: Bookkeeper – Boutique Law Firm
Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Bookkeeper to join our boutique law firm in Fort Lauderdale. The ideal candidate will manage day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, payroll processing, and trust accounting. Familiarity with legal billing software (e.g., QuickBooks, Clio, or similar) and experience in a legal setting is preferred. Strong organizational skills and confidentiality are essential.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers

  • Process invoices, payments, and payroll

  • Reconcile bank and trust accounts

  • Generate financial reports for management

  • Ensure compliance with legal accounting standards

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of bookkeeping experience (legal field preferred)

  • Proficiency in QuickBooks or similar accounting software

  • Understanding of trust accounting and legal billing
