Legal Assistant – Litigation (Temporary)
A busy boutique Family Law firm in South Miami is seeking a skilled and professional Litigation Legal Assistant to join their team on a long-term temporary basis with the potential for temp-to-hire. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a well-respected practice supporting high-net-worth clients.
Position Requirements
- 3+ years of prior litigation experience (any area; Family Law a plus, but not required)
- Ability to draft legal documents, e-file, calendar deadlines, and schedule hearings via the Portal
- Proficient with Dictaphone transcription
- Strong organizational and communication skills
Position Details
- On-site role – South Miami office
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm (1-hour lunch; 35-hour work week)
- Firm provides on-site parking
- Pay while temping: $25+/hour
- Permanent salary (if converted): $55,000–$75,000 (commensurate with experience)
