Legal Search Solutions is seeking a Commercial Litigation Associate to join top national law firm in Miami. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of general commercial litigation experience. Candidates should have deep experience with all phases of litigation, including appeals. Candidates should be able to drive matters from inception to conclusion..
Responsibilities
- Simultaneously handles the high-level and strategic aspects of multiple legal matters at different stages of progression, from inception to conclusion
- Possesses strong attention to detail and excellent interpersonal skills for communicating with attorneys and clients
- Demonstrates the ability to independently manage matters and shows a strong interest in continuing to advance their career as a litigator
- Produces very high-quality legal work and bills the required amounts of hours to ensure excellent client service
- Is able to manage client relationships and demonstrates the necessary skills to generate business through group and individual efforts
- Complies with the very highest ethical standards of the legal profession
Qualifications
- JD from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the Florida Bar.
- 3-6 years of experience in complex commercial/ business litigation.
- Experience in complex business litigation.
- Trail and appellate experience desired.
- Experience preparing cases for trial, independent motion and discovery practice.
- Experience running cases from inception to close with minimal supervision.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 products (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
