Our client, a growing and well-respected law firm in Weston, is seeking a highly motivated Transactional Associate Attorney with both corporate and real estate experience for a contract-to-hire opportunity. This role is ideal for an attorney who wants to step into a fast-paced practice, prove their value, and transition into a long-term position.

Responsibilities

Manage an individual caseload with partner oversight

Structure and close complex business and commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, and development projects

Draft, review, and negotiate:
-
Purchase and sale agreements
-
Commercial leases
-
Joint venture agreements
-
Service and operating agreements
-

Review and analyze due diligence materials, title commitments, and corporate documents to identify legal and business risks
-
Advise clients on entity formation, corporate structure, operating agreements, and related contracts
-
Conduct legal research and provide clear, practical analysis
-
Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and internal stakeholders
-
Utilize AI-assisted legal tools to improve efficiency and accuracy
-
Deliver high-quality, detail-oriented legal work product
-
Manage multiple matters simultaneously and meet deadlines
-
Collaborate effectively with colleagues while working independently when needed
-
Assist with business development and relationship-building efforts as appropriate
Qualifications
-
2–5 years of Florida transactional experience, with a focus on:

Corporate law
-
Commercial and real estate transactions
-

Juris Doctor from an accredited law school

Active member of the Florida Bar in good standing

Strong research, writing, and drafting skills

Technologically savvy with the ability to integrate tools into daily workflow

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Bilingual English/Spanish is a strong plus
