HOA Attorney
Job Summary: Legal Search Solutions is assisting a well-established and leading law firm specializing in the representation of homeowners, condominium, and community associations is seeking an Associate Attorney with 5 years of experience, for our Coral Gables, FL office. The firm represents homeowners in HOA litigation matters. The ideal candidate will have 5 years of HOA experience (homeowners or association side experience). The role is onsite in Coral Gables, FL.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Provide legal representation to homeowners in condo/ HOA litigation matters.
- Conduct legal research and review relevant documents.
- Draft opinion letters and violation demand letters.
- Attend client Board meetings as needed to provide legal guidance.
- Maintain current knowledge of Homeowners Association governing documents, including Declarations, Articles of Incorporation, Bylaws, and Rules and Regulations.
- Draft, finalize, and record documents related to Condominium and Homeowner Associations.
- Maintain a strong understanding of applicable Condominium statutes and provide guidance to client Boards of Directors.
Requirements:
Required Skills/Abilities:
- 5 years of experience practicing Community Association law.
- Active and valid Florida Bar license.
- Knowledge of, and experience with, the Florida Condominium Act and Florida Homeowners’ Association Act preferred.
