Medical Malpractice Defense Associate (3-6 Years) – South Florida
Our client, a highly regarded defense firm, is seeking a Medical Malpractice Defense Associate with 3-6 years of experience to join its growing litigation practice.
This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who enjoys sophisticated litigation, meaningful client interaction, and increasing responsibility. The successful candidate will work directly with experienced partners and healthcare clients while handling a broad range of medical malpractice and healthcare-related defense matters.
Candidates should have strong litigation experience, including discovery, motion practice, depositions, and court appearances. Medical malpractice defense experience is preferred, but the firm will consider strong civil litigation attorneys with backgrounds in insurance defense, professional liability, or healthcare litigation.
Qualifications:
- 3-6 years of litigation experience
- Florida Bar admission in good standing
- Experience handling depositions, hearings, and motion practice
- Strong legal research and writing skills
- Ability to independently manage files while working collaboratively with partners and clients
- Medical malpractice defense experience preferred
