Plaintiff Litigation Paralegal

A growing Plaintiff litigation firm in Hollywood is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join its team on a temp-to-hire basis.
The ideal candidate will have a strong litigation background, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to support attorneys throughout all phases of the litigation process. This position offers the opportunity to become a valued member of a collaborative legal team while working on a variety of plaintiff-side matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the day-to-day management of active litigation files
- Draft pleadings, discovery requests and responses, notices, subpoenas, and correspondence
- Coordinate and schedule depositions, mediations, hearings, inspections, and expert meetings
- Maintain case calendars and track court deadlines
- Review, summarize, and organize medical records, discovery, and other case-related documents
- Communicate regularly with clients, experts, court personnel, and opposing counsel
- Prepare settlement demand packages and assist with settlement negotiations
- Organize exhibits, witness files, and trial materials
- Support attorneys with trial preparation and case strategy development
- Handle electronic filing in Florida State Courts and maintain accurate case records
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of Plaintiff Litigation Paralegal experience required
- Strong knowledge of Florida litigation procedures and court rules
- Experience handling cases through discovery, mediation, settlement, and trial preparation
- Exceptional attention to detail and follow-through
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal case management software
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-oriented environment
