Temp-to-Hire Opportunity
A boutique law firm serving clients in the areas of real estate, estate planning, corporate law, and related transactional matters is seeking an experienced Legal Assistant to join its growing team.
This position offers the opportunity to work closely with attorneys on sophisticated legal matters while enjoying a collaborative and supportive office environment.
Primary Responsibilities
Real Estate
- Assist with residential and commercial real estate transactions
- Prepare closing documents and coordinate with title companies, lenders, and clients
- Maintain transaction files and track critical deadlines
Estate Planning
- Prepare wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and related documents
- Organize client information and maintain estate planning files
- Coordinate document signings and follow-up communications
Corporate & Business Matters
- Draft correspondence and basic corporate documents
- Assist with entity formations, annual filings, and corporate maintenance
- Maintain corporate records and organizational documents
General Legal Support
- Manage attorney calendars and client communications
- Prepare, revise, and proofread legal documents
- Handle electronic and physical file management
- Coordinate meetings, appointments, and deadlines
Qualifications
- Previous Legal Assistant experience required
- Experience in real estate, estate planning, corporate law, or transactional practice areas strongly preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong document preparation and organizational abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal practice management software
