Bilingual Receptionist / Legal Administrative Assistant (English/Spanish)
Temporary-to-Hire | Hybrid Schedule | Intellectual Property Law Firm
A well-established Intellectual Property law firm is seeking a professional, bilingual Receptionist/Legal Administrative Assistant to join its team in a temporary-to-hire capacity. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys wearing multiple hats in a collaborative, close-knit office while supporting attorneys in a fast-paced legal environment.
The ideal candidate will have prior law firm experience, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to manage competing priorities while providing outstanding client service.
Schedule
- Hybrid position after training (at least three days a week in office)
- Flexible office hours, ideally 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday
Responsibilities
- Answer and route incoming calls
- Perform conflict checks for new matters
- Maintain attorney calendars and monitor important deadlines
- Prepare, scan, file, and organize legal documents
- Assist with administrative and clerical support for attorneys and staff
- Coordinate incoming and outgoing mail, emails, and office correspondence
- Help keep client files and records organized and up to date
- Provide general office support and assist with special projects as needed
Qualifications
- Bilingual in English and Spanish required
- Previous law firm experience required
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple assignments while maintaining accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Professional phone etiquette and client service skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team
