Legal Search Solutions is working with a busy and well-established insurance claims company in Kendall that is looking for an experienced Legal Assistant / Paralegal to join its team on a temp-to-hire basis.

Responsibilities
- Assist with insurance claims and risk management matters from intake through resolution
- Prepare, draft, and review legal correspondence and documents
- Maintain and organize case and claims files
- Communicate with clients, insurance carriers, attorneys, and third-party vendors
- Manage calendars, deadlines, and follow-up items
- Assist with records requests, document collection, and file management
- Conduct legal and factual research as needed
- Provide administrative and legal support to the team
- Maintain accurate records and protect confidential information
Qualifications
- Previous Legal Assistant or Paralegal experience required
- Background in insurance claims, insurance defense, medical malpractice, risk management, litigation, or a related legal field preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal case management systems
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
- Strong follow-through and a professional, team-oriented approach
