A well-established Plantation law firm is seeking a Collections Legal Assistant / Collections Specialist to join its growing HOA/Condo collections practice. They are looking for someone with 1-3+ years experience handling Condo / HOA Collections.
GROW YOUR LEGAL CAREER! This is a great opportunity for someone with some collections experience, preferably HOA or Condo, who is comfortable communicating with property owners and discussing outstanding balances and payment arrangements.
Responsibilities
- Handle HOA and Condo collection matters
- Communicate with property owners regarding delinquent accounts
- Negotiate and set up payment arrangements
- Follow up on outstanding balances and payments
- Maintain accurate collection files and records
- Work closely with attorneys and the legal team
- Provide professional, courteous, and persistent communication
Qualifications
- 1 – 3 yrs’ collections experience; HOA/Condo
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional and confident telephone manner
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Ability to handle difficult conversations professionally
- Prior law firm experience preferred
Position Details
- Temp-to-Hire…The plan is to become permanent – like a working interview
- On-site, Monday–Friday, normal business hours
- Competitive salary: $45-55K, based on experience
- Benefits available upon permanent hire
