About the Role
A growing boutique litigation law firm seeks an experienced Foreclosure Paralegal. This non-entry-level role requires independently managing a high-volume foreclosure caseload, meeting strict deadlines, and providing exceptional client communication and attorney support. This is an “on-site” position.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage assigned foreclosure files from opening through final resolution.
- Draft, e-file, and serve court documents via the Florida Courts E-Filing Portal, CourtMap, CMS, OLS, JACS, and JAWS.
- Coordinate hearings, mediations, trials, and foreclosure sales.
- Monitor dockets, deadlines, and case statuses, proactively escalating complex matters to attorneys.
- Communicate case updates directly with clients and maintain accurate electronic case-management records.
Qualifications
- Experience: At least 2 years of Florida civil litigation and foreclosure experience required.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Florida judicial online systems, MS Office, and Adobe Acrobat. Legal case-management software experience required (Litify/Salesforce or Clio preferred).
- Work Style: Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of prioritizing urgent matters independently in a high-volume environment.
- Languages: Strong written and verbal communication skills; fluency in Spanish and/or Haitian Creole is a plus.
