Long-Term Temporary / Temp-to-Hire
On-Site – South Florida
Legal Search Solutions is working with a respected South Florida law firm seeking an experienced Legal Assistant or Litigation Paralegal to support its litigation team. This is an on-site opportunity for a detail-oriented legal professional interested in a long-term assignment with the potential to transition into a permanent position.
Responsibilities include:

Preparing, filing, and managing pleadings and other court documents through Florida e-filing portals

Maintaining attorney calendars and coordinating hearings, depositions, mediations, and court deadlines

Assisting with discovery, including drafting discovery requests, preparing responses, and organizing document productions
-
Drafting legal correspondence and other litigation-related documents
-
Managing case files and providing support throughout all stages of litigation, from case inception through trial

Communicating with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and outside vendors
-
Assisting with trial preparation, including exhibits, binders, and witness materials
-
Updating case management systems and handling related administrative duties
Qualifications:
-
At least 2 years of litigation experience in a law firm

Familiarity with Florida court procedures and electronic filing systems
-
Experience managing attorney calendars, court deadlines, and litigation schedules
-
Working knowledge of discovery and general litigation procedures
-
Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills
-
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal case management software
-
Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment
