Our law firm is seeking a skilled and experienced commercial litigation attorney with expertise in construction law to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in handling complex construction litigation matters, including contract disputes, construction defect claims, mechanic’s liens, and other construction-related issues.
Responsibilities:
– Handling a caseload of commercial litigation matters with a focus on construction disputes
– Providing legal advice and representation to clients involved in construction-related disputes and claims
– Conducting legal research, drafting pleadings, motions, and other legal documents
– Representing clients in mediations, arbitrations, and court proceedings
– Managing all aspects of litigation, including discovery, depositions, and trial preparation
– Communicating effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and internal team members
– Staying updated on relevant laws, regulations, and legal trends in construction and commercial litigation
Qualifications:
– Florida Bar Required
– Admission to the state bar and in good standing
– 3+ years of experience in commercial litigation with a focus on construction law
– Strong knowledge of construction law, including relevant statutes, regulations, and case law
– Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills
– Proven track record of handling complex litigation matters
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team
– Strong communication and negotiation skills
