Litigation Associate Attorney

Position Overview

An established and growing law firm is seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney to join its team. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney looking to develop their litigation skills in a collaborative, professional, and client-focused environment. The ideal candidate will be motivated, detail-oriented, and committed to providing exceptional legal representation and client service.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Draft, review, and file pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
  • Manage all aspects of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, motion practice, and case strategy.
  • Attend hearings, mediations, settlement conferences, depositions, and trials as required.
  • Communicate regularly with clients regarding case status and legal strategy.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis.
  • Maintain accurate case files and ensure compliance with court deadlines and procedural requirements.
  • Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to achieve favorable outcomes.
  • Perform additional legal and administrative duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active membership and good standing with the applicable state bar.
  • Prior litigation experience preferred but not required.
  • Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
