Contract Position with Temp-to-Perm Potential

A well-established boutique law firm in Fort Lauderdale is seeking an experienced Corporate Transactional Attorney for a contract position with the potential to become permanent.
This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney with three or more years of corporate transactional experience who is interested in joining a boutique firm and initially supporting one of the firm’s partners.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate transactional matters, with Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) experience a big plus.
Responsibilities:
- Support one of the firm’s partners on a variety of corporate transactional matters
- Assist with mergers and acquisitions and other business transactions
- Draft, review, and revise corporate and transactional documents
- Conduct legal research and due diligence
- Work closely with attorneys and clients throughout the transaction process
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
- 3+ years of corporate transactional experience
- Solid experience handling corporate and business transactions
- M&A experience is a plus!
- Excellent drafting, analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Keen eye for detail and top-level organizational skills
- Ability to work independently while effectively supporting a partner and legal team
