Senior Family Law Attorney – Palm Beach County, FL

A well-established and respected South Florida law firm is seeking an experienced Senior Family Law Attorney to join its growing practice. This hybrid opportunity offers the chance to work on sophisticated family law matters involving high-net-worth individuals while collaborating with an accomplished team of legal professionals.

The ideal candidate will independently manage a complex caseload and provide strategic counsel throughout all phases of litigation and dispute resolution. This role is best suited for an attorney who thrives in a collaborative environment and is committed to delivering exceptional client service.

Responsibilities:

Manage a caseload of complex family law matters from inception through resolution.
Handle cases involving divorce, equitable distribution, high-value asset division, parental responsibility and timesharing, alimony, child support, and prenuptial/postnuptial agreements.
Draft pleadings, motions, legal memoranda, settlement agreements, financial affidavits, and other legal documents.
Conduct and respond to discovery, prepare case strategy, and evaluate legal and financial issues.
Represent clients at hearings, mediations, depositions, and trials.
Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and outside experts, including forensic accountants, valuation professionals, and mental health specialists.
Maintain accurate case files, billing records, and client communications.
Foster strong client relationships while providing practical legal guidance through sensitive matters.
Mentor junior attorneys and support staff as appropriate and contribute to the continued growth of the practice.

Qualifications:

Active member of the Florida Bar in good standing.
Significant experience practicing family law at the senior associate level or equivalent.
Florida Bar Board Certification in Marital & Family Law is preferred, or a demonstrated interest in pursuing certification.
Experience handling high-net-worth divorce matters, business and asset valuation issues, support and alimony matters, and complex parenting disputes.
Strong litigation background, including motion practice, depositions, evidentiary hearings, mediations, and trial experience.
Excellent legal research, writing, analytical, and advocacy skills.
Outstanding communication and client counseling abilities, with the professionalism and discretion required to represent clients in highly confidential and sensitive matters.
Team-oriented with the ability to collaborate effectively while also managing cases independently.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
