Local reputable boutique firm is seeking a Community Association Attorney with experience advising condominium and homeowner associations. This role focuses on providing practical legal guidance to association boards on governance, compliance, and dispute resolution. The ideal candidate will have 5 years of experience including some experience in HOA litigation. The position is located in Sunrise, FL.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise condominium and homeowner association boards on compliance with Florida statutes and regulations.
- Draft, review, and amend governing documents, including covenants, bylaws, rules, and amendments.
- Prepare and review contracts and association-related legal documents.
- Assist clients with dispute resolution through mediation and arbitration.
- Counsel boards on governance, elections, and enforcement matters.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of legal practice experience.
- HOA litigation experience desired.
- Strong legal research, drafting, and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities. Education & Licensure
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
- Active Florida Bar membership
