Associate Attorney- Insurance Defense
Insurance defense firm in Fort Lauderdale is currently looking for a motivated attorney.
We are seeking a candidate with 2+ years experience in Insurance Defense.
Responsibilities:
- Attend hearings, depositions, mediations and trials.
- The Associate will be based in Fort Lauderdale, but will handle cases from Miami to West Palm Beach.
- Court appearances and the taking of depositions will be required.
- Travel to various courthouses in Florida will be required.
- Prepare pleadings, discovery and responses, motions and other litigation documents.
- Prepare timely reports to clients and insurance representatives.
- Ability to prioritize work load.
- Meet deadlines
- Ability to interact with attorneys, paralegals, other staff members in a professional manner.
- Detail oriented with strong organizational skills.
