Overview
Our client in Broward County is seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney to support their experienced litigation team in the handling of matters from inception through resolution. This position is ideal for an attorney who enjoys the day-to-day practice of litigation, including discovery, legal research, motion drafting, and case management, while working closely with senior litigators on case strategy and trial preparation.
Responsibilities
- Draft pleadings, motions, memoranda, and other litigation-related documents.
- Manage all phases of written discovery, including drafting, responding to, and reviewing discovery requests.
- Conduct legal research and prepare case analyses.
- Review and analyze records, documents, and evidence.
- Assist with deposition preparation, witness preparation, and trial preparation.
- Attend hearings, mediations, and depositions as needed.
- Maintain case deadlines and ensure matters progress efficiently.
- Collaborate with partners, senior attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to provide exceptional client service.
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of litigation experience preferred.
- Strong experience with discovery, motion practice, and case management.
- Excellent legal research and writing skills.
- Ability to analyze complex issues and communicate effectively.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn from experienced litigators.
- Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
