Attorney – Personal Injury Associate

A boutique personal injury firm in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, seeks a new litigator to join its trial division. Ideal candidates will have three or more years of experience in the courtroom, be confident in taking depositions, and be able to respond to discovery while working with litigation clients.

In this role, you will gain experience in simple accidents, catastrophic injuries, and wrongful death. Under the supervision and guidance of an experienced trial attorney, you will:
- Conduct legal research
- Draft Pleadings and Motions
- Advocate in Court
- Prepare and Respond to Discovery
- Negotiate settlements with defense attorneys and adjusters
- Attend Mediations and Arbitrations
- Second-chair Trials
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of personal injury litigation/trial experience – Plaintiff preferred, but defense considered
- Must be in good standing of the Florida Bar
- Experience with discovery and depositions
- Hardworking, detailed, and self-motivated
