Bankruptcy Litigation Associate
Legal Search solutions is looking for a Bankruptcy Litigation Associate for a reputable boutique client in Miami, FL. The successful candidate will have 2-3 years of litigation experience with experience in bankruptcy litigation and business reorganization. The firm combines big law capabilities with boutique level service. Hybrid Opportunity.
Responsibilities
- Review, draft, and analyze construction agreements.
- Draft, review, and respond to substantive pleadings, motions, and discovery.
- Prepare documentation for the U.S. Bankruptcy court.
- Drafting reorganization plans.
- Ensure compliance.
- Meet annual billable hour requirements and record time efficiently.
Qualifications
- JD from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the Florida Bar.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- 2-3- years of commercial litigation with experience in bankruptcy litigation experience required.
- Experience in Chapter 11 business reorganization.
- Demonstrated knowledge of litigation cases from inception to close.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Spanish a plus.
- NY Bar admission a plus.
