Bilingual Receptionist / Legal Administrative Assistant (English/Spanish)

Temporary-to-Hire | Hybrid Schedule | Intellectual Property Law Firm

A well-established Intellectual Property law firm is seeking a professional, bilingual Receptionist/Legal Administrative Assistant to join its team in a temporary-to-hire capacity. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys wearing multiple hats in a collaborative, close-knit office while supporting attorneys in a fast-paced legal environment.

The ideal candidate will have prior law firm experience, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to manage competing priorities while providing outstanding client service.

Schedule

  • Hybrid position after training (at least three days a week in office)
  • Flexible office hours, ideally 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday

Responsibilities

  • Answer and route incoming calls 
  • Perform conflict checks for new matters
  • Maintain attorney calendars and monitor important deadlines
  • Prepare, scan, file, and organize legal documents
  • Assist with administrative and clerical support for attorneys and staff
  • Coordinate incoming and outgoing mail, emails, and office correspondence
  • Help keep client files and records organized and up to date
  • Provide general office support and assist with special projects as needed

Qualifications

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish required
  • Previous law firm experience required
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to prioritize multiple assignments while maintaining accuracy
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Professional phone etiquette and client service skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team
