Billing Specialist Job Summary
We are seeking a Billing Specialist with law firm experience to join a prestigious law firm in Downtown of Miami! The candidate will work closely with other members of the accounting area including the Firm Administrator in the handling of the day-to-day billing operations of the firm.
Billing Specialist Job Duties:
- Monthly billing cycle including pre-bill edits and multiple e-billing systems
- Monthly collections when needed
- Client and vendor communication
- Opening new client matters
- General administrative duties
Billing Specialist Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook is required i
- Proficiency in accounting software
- Must be experienced with law firm billing processes specifically electronic billings
- 3+ years’ experience working in law firm Billing Dept.
- Ability to work well independently and effectively prioritize assignments
- Ability to respond effectively to clients’ questions and needs
