Lawyer Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Commercial Litigation Attorney to join a small reputable boutique firm in Miami. The individual in this role would be responsible for managing cases in complex commercial/ business litigation. The firm engages in high-stakes commercial litigation matters and is often co-counsel to Am Law firms. The ideal candidate will have 7-12 years of experience in commercial litigation. The position is onsite in Miami, FL.
Lawyer Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and respond to substantive pleadings, motions, and discovery.
- Assist with trial preparation and/or attend trial.
- Manage cases from inception to close.
- Meet annual billable hour requirements and record time efficiently.
Lawyer Qualifications
- JD from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the Florida Bar.
- 7-12 years of experience in complex commercial/ business litigation.
- Experience in complex business litigation.
- Experience preparing cases for trial, independent motion and discovery practice.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Preferred to have a book of business (not required).
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 products (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
