Transactional Associate Attorney

Contract-to-Hire | Weston, Florida

Our client, a growing and well-respected law firm in Weston, is seeking a highly motivated Transactional Associate Attorney with both corporate and real estate experience for a contract-to-hire opportunity. This role is ideal for an attorney who wants to step into a fast-paced practice, prove their value, and transition into a long-term position.

Responsibilities

  • Manage an individual caseload with partner oversight

  • Structure and close complex business and commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, and development projects

  • Draft, review, and negotiate:

    • Purchase and sale agreements

    • Commercial leases

    • Joint venture agreements

    • Service and operating agreements

  • Review and analyze due diligence materials, title commitments, and corporate documents to identify legal and business risks

  • Advise clients on entity formation, corporate structure, operating agreements, and related contracts

  • Conduct legal research and provide clear, practical analysis

  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and internal stakeholders

  • Utilize AI-assisted legal tools to improve efficiency and accuracy

  • Deliver high-quality, detail-oriented legal work product

  • Manage multiple matters simultaneously and meet deadlines

  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues while working independently when needed

  • Assist with business development and relationship-building efforts as appropriate


Qualifications

  • 2–5 years of Florida transactional experience, with a focus on:

    • Corporate law

    • Commercial and real estate transactions

  • Juris Doctor from an accredited law school

  • Active member of the Florida Bar in good standing

  • Strong research, writing, and drafting skills

  • Technologically savvy with the ability to integrate tools into daily workflow

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Bilingual English/Spanish is a strong plus
