We are currently seeking contract and temporary legal professionals to assist law firms with both short-term and long-term positions.
These opportunities are ideal for someone with prior law firm or legal administrative experience who can step in quickly and provide dependable support.
The selected candidates will assist on-site at law firms with a variety of tasks catered to your background and skills, helping the law firms achieve their objectives and/or maintain the day-to-day workflow of the office.
Assignment Details
- Position Type: Contract / Temporary
- Job Types: Attorney, Paralegal, Legal Assistant / Secretary, Legal Billing, Legal Data Entry, Receptionist
- Schedule: Full-time or part-time (depending on assignment needs)
- Duration: Short-term and long-term projects or coverages (length may vary)
- Temporary-to-hire opportunities are often available
Responsibilities may include:
- Document Review – (Attorneys)
- Managing attorney calendars and scheduling appointments
- Preparing and formatting legal documents and correspondence
- Filing documents (electronic and/or physical)
- Assisting with court filings and basic litigation support
- Organizing files and maintaining case records
- Handling phone calls, emails, and general office communication
- Providing general administrative support to attorneys and staff
Qualifications
- Prior law firm or legal office experience required
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Ability to work independently and adapt quickly in a new environment
- Professional demeanor and strong attention to detail
- Florida Bar Membership (in good standing) often required for Attorneys
