Full-Time, Long-Term Contract Position
On-Site in West Palm Beach, Florida
A well-established boutique law firm in West Palm Beach is seeking an experienced Trial Attorney with a strong background in personal injury litigation to join its team on a full-time contract basis. This assignment is expected to begin immediately and continue for several months.
This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned litigator who enjoys handling plaintiff-side personal injury matters, is comfortable managing an active caseload, and can step in quickly to support a busy trial practice.
Responsibilities
- Manage personal injury cases from litigation through trial
- Handle court appearances, hearings, mediations, and depositions
- Conduct case evaluations and develop litigation strategies
- Draft and respond to pleadings, motions, discovery, and other legal filings
- Prepare witnesses, experts, and clients for deposition and trial
- Attend trial calendars and assist with all phases of trial preparation
- Negotiate settlements and participate in mediation conferences
- Collaborate closely with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff
Qualifications
- Active membership in the Florida Bar in good standing
- Minimum 3+ years of personal injury litigation experience
- Prior trial experience strongly preferred
- Experience taking and defending depositions
- Strong legal writing, negotiation, and courtroom advocacy skills
- Ability to independently manage a caseload with minimal supervision
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Available to start immediately
