Associate Attorney – Estate Planning

A well-established South Florida law firm is seeking an Associate Attorney to join its growing Estate Planning practice in Palm Beach County. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who enjoys working directly with clients and helping individuals and families develop customized estate plans that provide long-term security and peace of mind.
The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, compassionate, and capable of independently managing estate planning matters from initial client consultation through document preparation and execution. Experience with probate and trust administration is beneficial, and an interest in expanding into Elder Law, Medicaid Planning, and Special Needs Planning is welcomed.
Responsibilities
- Conduct initial consultations and advise clients on estate and incapacity planning strategies.
- Draft and review estate planning documents, including wills, revocable and irrevocable trusts, powers of attorney, healthcare directives, deeds, and related documents.
- Manage estate planning matters from intake through execution and funding.
- Maintain strong client relationships and provide exceptional client service throughout the planning process.
- Coordinate with paralegals, financial advisors, accountants, and other professionals to facilitate efficient matter management.
- Utilize legal technology and document automation platforms, including WealthCounsel, FormBuilder, Clio, or similar software.
- Maintain organized case files and ensure matters progress efficiently and accurately.
- Assist with probate and trust administration matters as needed.
Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school.
- Active membership in good standing with the Florida Bar.
- 0–5+ years of experience in estate planning, trusts and estates, probate, or a related practice area.
- Experience drafting estate planning documents using WealthCounsel, FormBuilder, or comparable software preferred.
- Familiarity with Clio or similar legal practice management software.
- Strong drafting, organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to independently manage client matters with minimal supervision.
- Experience working with elderly clients and their families is a plus.
- Spanish language skills are a plus.
