A highly respected boutique law firm in Coconut Grove is looking for an experienced Family Law Paralegal to become an integral member of its team. This is an excellent opportunity for a self-motivated professional who enjoys managing cases from start to finish and takes pride in delivering exceptional work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Prepare pleadings, motions, discovery, financial affidavits, and legal correspondence
- Manage cases throughout the litigation process, from intake through trial
- Coordinate hearings, depositions, mediations, and attorney calendars
- Prepare and file documents through the Florida e-Filing Portal
- Organize exhibits, trial notebooks, and supporting documentation
- Maintain regular communication with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel
- Assist attorneys with case strategy, research, and trial preparation
What You’ll Bring
- 5+ years of Florida family law paralegal experience
- Strong drafting, case management, and organizational skills
- Experience managing a busy caseload with minimal supervision
- Prior billing and time entry experience
- Ability to consistently meet a 30-hour weekly billable requirement
- Professional, dependable, and proactive approach with outstanding attention to detail
