Job Title: Assistant – Foreclosure & Bankruptcy Department
Location: Broward County (In-office position)

Our client, a law firm with an office in Pompano Beach, FL is currently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Assistant to join their Foreclosure and Bankruptcy Department. This role is ideal for candidates who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are adept at managing multiple tasks simultaneously, with the ability to prioritize effectively as needs shift.
Key Responsibilities:

Handle administrative tasks including copying, scanning, and mailing documents and correspondence.

E-file pleadings with courts across multiple counties.

Maintain accurate status reports for open cases.
-
Manage the daily, weekly, and monthly task calendars for multiple attorneys.

Coordinate and confirm scheduling for hearings, depositions, mediations, trials, and meetings.

Communicate efficiently and professionally with attorneys, management, and colleagues, both electronically and in person.
Required Skills & Qualifications:

Strong proficiency in basic math and attention to detail when working with numbers.

Proficient in WordPerfect, Microsoft Word, and Outlook.

Ability to multitask effectively and stay organized under pressure.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
-
Previous experience in a legal environment is a plus.
