Job Title: Legal Assistant / Claims Coordinator
Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Legal Assistant / Claims Coordinator to join our law firm, which focuses on helping individuals obtain disability benefits from insurance companies. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced legal environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist attorneys with daily tasks and case management
  • Manage and maintain attorney calendars
  • Communicate professionally with clients, medical providers, and insurance companies
  • Request, track, and organize medical records and related documentation
  • Draft letters, review forms, and prepare case materials
  • Follow up on outstanding tasks and ensure deadlines are met
  • Maintain accurate and organized digital files
  • Utilize Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel to support case operations

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in the legal field or insurance industry
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and writing skills
  • Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)
  • Ability to multitask and work independently with attention to detail
  • Professional and courteous client service skills

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Salary: $47,500–$50,000
