Legal Assistant – Insurance Defense Job Summary
Legal Search Solutions is currently assisting our prestigious client in the hiring of a Legal Assistant – Insurance Defense in the beautiful Coral Gables area. Candidates with at least 5 to 7 years doing insurance defense litigation will be considered.
Legal Assistant – Insurance Defense Duties and Responsibilities
- Managing files for litigation matters
- Intake and organization of voluminous production documents received from clients and opposing parties
- Preparing pleadings, discovery demands, discovery responses and other litigation documents at the request of the attorney
- Preparation of materials for depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials to assist attorneys
- Ability to prioritize work load based on deadlines
- Communicate with attorneys to assist in all aspect of litigation
- Ability to meet billing requirements
Legal Assistant – Insurance Defense Requirements and Qualifications
- Must have a minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience
- Employment Law experience a plus
- Client involvement
- Team player
- Able to work in a fast paced environment
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Must be able to multitask
