Legal Search Solutions is currently assisting our prestigious client in the hiring of a Legal Assistant – Insurance Defense in the Miami-Dade County area. Candidates with at least 3 years of experience in insurance defense will be considered.
Legal Assistant Job Description:
Prestigious litigation defense firm has an immediate opening for a full-time Legal Assistant with significant experience in civil litigation and/or personal injury. Familiarity with maritime law is a plus.
Legal Assistant Qualifications:
The ideal candidate must be highly organized, detail oriented and dedicated. We
are seeking a self-starter who can work independently under the guidance of the
attorneys. The legal assistant will be required to work in a team environment and
manage significant workloads with minimum supervision. Responsibilities include
but are not limited to scheduling, communication with opposing counsel,
calendaring, hearings, mediations, IME’s, depositions, court filings, and other
Qualified individuals must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
A minimum of 3-5 years of experience is required. The ability to work on time
sensitive deadlines and exercise good judgment is essential. Candidates must
possess strong organizational and time management skills. Proficiency in Microsoft office (Word, Outlook) is a
