Temp-to-Hire Opportunity

A busy and highly respected Insurance Claims company in Kendall is seeking an experienced Legal Assistant / Paralegal to join its team on a temp-to-hire basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional who is looking for long-term stability, professional growth, and the chance to work alongside a friendly and collaborative group of professionals.
This position is fully on-site in a small but fast-paced office environment where teamwork, attention to detail, and professionalism are highly valued.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with claims and risk management matters from intake through resolution
- Draft, review, and prepare legal correspondence and documents
- Maintain and organize case and claims files
- Communicate with clients, insurance carriers, attorneys, and third-party vendors
- Track deadlines and manage calendars
- Conduct legal and factual research as needed
- Assist with records requests, document collection, and file management
- Provide administrative support to attorneys and team
- Maintain accurate records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information
Qualifications:
- Previous Legal Assistant or Paralegal experience required
- Experience in claims management, insurance defense, medical malpractice, risk management, litigation, or related legal fields preferred
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal case management software
- Ability to work independently while thriving in a team-oriented environment
- Detail-oriented with strong follow-through skills
