Legal Search Solutions is partnered with a boutique law firm in Downtown Fort Lauderdale looking for a detail-oriented Commercial Litigation Paralegal to join their team. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with state and federal cases, enjoys substantive casework, and is comfortable managing trial preparation logistics. You will start onsite to learn firm workflows and client expectations; after successful completion of a 6 month onboarding period, the role becomes hybrid.
Key responsibilities

Support attorneys on commercial litigation matters in state and federal courts, including calendaring, filing, and deadlines tracking.

Manage and prepare trial materials: create and maintain exhibit lists, assemble and proof trial binders, and prepare witness notebooks and demonstratives.

Oversee discovery workflows: intake of productions, Bates-stamping, indexing, privilege logs, and production sets.

Draft, format, proofread and assemble pleadings, motions, briefs, and other court documents to firm standards.

Coordinate e-filings and service of process; interact with court clerks, mediators, court reporters, and vendors.

Maintain and organize matter files and document repositories; ensure documents are litigation-ready.

Assist with deposition logistics, subpoena coordination, and trial logistics (vendors, travel, exhibit handling).

Required qualifications

5+ years’ experience as a litigation paralegal or senior legal assistant supporting commercial litigation matters (state & federal court experience required).

Proven trial preparation experience (exhibit lists, trial binders, courtroom logistics).

Strong drafting, proofreading, and document-assembly skills; exceptional attention to detail.

Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines.

Professional communication skills for client and vendor interaction.

High degree of discretion and ability to work with confidential client information.
Preferred / valuable skills

Experience with iManage, Tabs3/PracticeMaster (Tabs), and Aderant (or similar DMS/PM/billing systems) is a plus.

Familiarity with e-filing systems, court rules, and federal court procedures.

Experience with deposition support, subpoena preparation, and coordination with experts.

Paralegal certification or relevant legal education preferred.
