We have partnered with a prominent regional law firm to find an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join their Orlando office, with a focus on construction defect matters. This role offers the chance to support high-stakes litigation in both state and federal courts, working alongside a team of respected trial attorneys.
Key Responsibilities

Collect, analyze, organize, and maintain factual information and documents in both electronic and hard copy formats.

Draft legal documents, including motions, affidavits, discovery requests, and subpoenas.

Research and analyze statutes, regulations, judicial decisions, and other legal sources; provide written analysis to attorneys.

Manage all aspects of discovery, including e-discovery workflows, document coding/indexing, and production.

Prepare, organize, and maintain case files, including evidence, exhibits, depositions, pleadings, and trial binders.

Assist attorneys with trial preparation, including logistics, coordination with clients and vendors, and attendance at trials, hearings, depositions, and mediations.

Oversee and delegate tasks to assistants and clerks on a case-specific basis, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
Qualifications

Paralegal Certificate/Degree OR 10+ years of litigation paralegal experience. FRP a big plus.

Strong knowledge of Florida state and U.S. District Court procedures.

Extensive eDiscovery experience, including use of litigation support platforms for document production, witness files, and transcript/exhibit management.

Demonstrated experience supporting all stages of litigation, from intake through trial.

Proven ability to coordinate trial/arbitration logistics, including workspace setup and vendor/client coordination.

Experience maintaining paper and electronic case files with attention to process and accuracy.

Proficiency with electronic court and administrative agency filings.

Construction litigation experience strongly preferred.
