Senior Litigation Paralegal – Construction Litigation

Legal Search Solutions has partnered with a well-established and rapidly growing Fort Lauderdale law firm that is seeking an experienced Senior Litigation Paralegal to support its busy construction litigation practice. This is an outstanding opportunity for a seasoned litigation professional who thrives in complex, document-intensive litigation and enjoys taking ownership of the discovery process from start to finish.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing sophisticated discovery, drafting substantive discovery responses and objections, and utilizing eDiscovery platforms to organize and analyze large volumes of electronically stored information.
Responsibilities

Manage all phases of litigation support for complex construction litigation matters.

Draft substantive responses and objections to interrogatories, requests for production, requests for admission, and other written discovery.

Coordinate, organize, review, and produce large volumes of documents in response to discovery requests.

Utilize eDiscovery software to collect, review, organize, and produce electronically stored information (ESI).

Assist attorneys in developing discovery strategy and identifying key issues throughout litigation.

Prepare privilege logs and coordinate document review projects.

Maintain litigation calendars, monitor deadlines, and ensure compliance with court scheduling orders.

Coordinate depositions, hearings, mediations, and expert witness matters.

Prepare trial notebooks, exhibit binders, witness files, and other trial materials.

Review pleadings, court filings, and case documents to ensure accuracy and completeness.

Communicate with clients, experts, opposing counsel, and vendors throughout the litigation process.

Maintain organized electronic and physical case files.
Qualifications

Five or more years of litigation paralegal experience, with significant experience in complex civil litigation.

Construction litigation experience is strongly preferred.

Demonstrated experience drafting substantive discovery responses and objections.

Strong working knowledge of eDiscovery processes and experience with eDiscovery software.

Experience managing large document productions and electronically stored information.

Thorough knowledge of Florida Rules of Civil Procedure and litigation deadlines.

Exceptional organizational, analytical, and written communication skills.

Ability to prioritize multiple deadlines while working in a fast-paced environment.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal case management software.
Compensation & Benefits

$85,000–$105,000, commensurate with experience.
