Temporary / Temp-to-Hire
Full-time hours – Remote
Boutique South Florida Litigation Law Firm is seeking a Paralegal to assist with Mass Torts Litigation Matters in a full time temporary, possibly becoming temp-to-perm down the road, starting as soon as possible.
Must have 5 or more years Litigation Paralegal experience, defense litigation, and Mass Torts a plus.
Job Description:
- Coordinate with clients and co-counsel during all phases of discovery; assist with all aspects of case from discovery through trial.
- Organize and maintain case files;
- Prepare and maintain issue, subject-matter, witness and deposition files.
- Review and analyze discovery requests and assist with discovery responses.
- Assist with document reviews, case issues, and privilege responses to discovery requests and to identify privileged documents, documents for redaction, case issues in context.
- Experience with e-filing.
- Proficient in litigation applications / databases
- Prepare files and keep accurate time records.
Skills:
- Must be organized, detail-oriented, and have solid communication skills.
- Must be a self-starter and able to work independently and collaboratively with little oversight.
- Practical familiarity with the litigation process (i.e. case management, discovery, databases, privilege logs, court filings, e-filing, cite checking, etc…
- 5+ years of defense litigation experience; with Mass Tort experience a huge advantage.
Full time daytime hours, M-F
You must be equipped to work remotely; firm will provide access to their programs and files.
