Paralegal – Plaintiff – Personal Injury
Well established, very high end plaintiff’s firm is seeking an experienced paralegal to join the team in their Downtown Fort Lauderdale, FL office. Must have personal injury litigation experience and excellent job stability to be considered. This firm has been in business for almost 30 years and has exceptional employee retention and rarely hires.
Previous Plaintiff Litigation experience is prerequisite, including previous personal injury and/or wrongful death experience.
Paralegal Requirements and Qualifications
- 3-5 years litigation experience, and know the process from beginning to end.
- History working in plaintiff personal injury
- Be skilled at moving cases along with little attorney direction.
- Must be able to schedule and eFile.
- Experience requesting and reviewing medical records.
- Familiarity with preparation of various motions and pleadings.
- Experience with discovery and preparing for hearings, depos, mediations, and trial.
- Self-starter who is comfortable handling multiple tasks.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Also required: excellent written and verbal skills; proficiency with MS Office.
- Bilingual Spanish a big plus but not necessary
