A respected boutique law firm in Miami is seeking an experienced Probate Paralegal to join its team on a temporary-to-hire basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for long-term stability with a firm that values professionalism, teamwork, and exceptional client service.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Prepare probate pleadings, petitions, inventories, accountings, and other estate administration documents
- File documents through the Florida e-Filing Portal and monitor all court deadlines
- Assist with estate administration from opening through closing
- Research property records, assets, and other matters related to probate administration
- Communicate regularly with clients, beneficiaries, courts, and third parties while providing outstanding client service
- Maintain organized files and proactively manage multiple matters simultaneously
What We're Looking For:
- 5+ years of recent Florida probate paralegal experience
- Solid understanding of Florida probate rules, procedures, and estate administration
- Experience preparing probate pleadings and supporting attorneys throughout the probate process
- Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, legal document management systems, and Florida e-Filing
- Self-starter with a positive attitude who enjoys working in a collaborative office environment
