Position Overview
We are working with a reputable boutique in North Palm Beach specializing in estate planning and real estate law seeking a seasoned paralegal to focus on residential real estate closings. This position offers the opportunity to provide legal support, resolve title issues, and contribute to the success of residential real estate transactions. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of residential real estate experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Tasks performed include negotiating contracts, reviewing title exceptions, open building permits or municipal liens, reviewing surveys and related elevation certificates, and closing documents.
- Examine and clear title matters to facilitate smooth closings.
- Communicate effectively with internal staff, customers, attorneys, and lenders to ensure successful outcomes.
Qualifications
- 2-3 years of experience in residential real estate transactions.
- Experience with residential real estate closings, moving cases along independently.
- Some experience in estate planning or interest in learning preferred.
