Private Client Services Paralegal
A national law firm client is seeking an experienced Trusts & Estates & Probate Paralegal to support attorneys in its Trusts & Estates/Wealth Planning practice.
Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and revise estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and healthcare directives
- Support trust and estate administration, including probate filings, asset inventories, and accountings
- Assist with the preparation and filing of estate and gift tax returns
- Prepare trust funding documents, asset transfers, and beneficiary designations
- Maintain organized electronic and physical client files
- Track deadlines and manage workflow for assigned matters
- Serve as a point of contact for clients, advisors, accountants, and court personnel
- Conduct basic legal and factual research
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of paralegal experience in trusts & estates, private wealth planning
- Strong knowledge of estate planning and trust administration processes
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
