Paralegal – Probate & Trusts and Estates

A well-established and respected law firm in Fort Lauderdale is seeking a Paralegal to support their growing Probate and Trusts & Estates practice.
Ideal Qualifications:

At least 5 years of experience in probate, trusts, and estate planning is preferred
-
Strong written and verbal communication skills
-
Technologically proficient—comfortable with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), Nitro/Adobe, transcription software, and a legal time management system
Key Responsibilities:
-
Support attorneys, paralegals, and legal secretaries to maintain an efficient and organized workflow
-
Draft and revise legal documents, letters, and court filings
-
Coordinate and maintain attorneys’ calendars, schedule meetings, calls, and court appearances
-
Communicate with clients, attorneys, and other professionals by phone and email
-
Handle notarizations and document witnessing, as well as secure document distribution
-
Enter attorney time into billing software
-
Organize and maintain digital client files
-
Transcribe dictation and assist with office-wide scanning of physical files
-
Perform other administrative and legal support duties as needed
