Well known law firm with offices around the state, has an opening in Tampa, Florida.
The Receptionist is responsible for receiving and directing visitors, vendors, and clients to appropriate locations and parties. Notifies personnel of visitor arrival. Operates a multiple line telephone switchboard for seven offices.
Primary Responsibilities
- Answer, assist, and direct all incoming telephone calls to appropriate parties in a professional and courteous manner.
- Greets visitors, vendors, and clients; determines the purpose of each person’s visit and directs or escorts them to the appropriate location.
- Receives and sorts mail, documents, packages, and courier deliveries.
- Manage conference room schedule and ensure conference rooms are organized and tidy.
- Perform basic filing and recordkeeping.
- Validate parking for specific clients and guests.
- Employee absence/tardiness tracking.
- Assist with other administrative projects or provide general back-up support, as necessary.
Required Skills
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Required Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Two (2) years’ of reception experience (or equivalent customer related ability).
Other Requirements
- Must maintain neat, professional appearance to meet appearance standards policy.
- Ability to be at work on a regular and consistent basis.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
